This is my sister Alex: Oh how I love her!

Yesterday was her special day. Nahni, Dalton & Bry  joined us for dinner @ Liberty for some tasty treats & gifts. We began talking about the old house on Beach Blvd, our memorable pranks, Huntington Beach & before we knew it, we were closing down the place.

I love it when this happens ;)

Here's to You sister! WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Happy, Happy Birthday!

When the opportunity presents itself to escape the desert for SoCal weather: take it. We spent the weekend enjoying downtown Temecula. The Farmer's Wife, the Temecula Lavendar Co., the Quilting Bee & amazing eats.

Warm sun & cool breeze followed us, it was sooo nice.

Coffee, chocolat cheep cookie dough, interior decorating & some cute pix taken of our mom2be; we didn't want to leave ;)

Although duty calls, we're already making time for more trips; Thank God!

72 hours can evaporate when you're with friends. J9 from Montana, Michelle from SoCal & Jewel. I think we averaged 3.5 hours of sleep a night, and as expected, time flew. 

Liberty Market, True Food Kitchen, Postino & Jewel's Kitchen made for one great weekend...

We are in the begining stages of what I hope will be a beautiful baby gift. I must confess, this is a process. Of course selecting all the colours, ribbens & such is the easy part. Once this project is underway, the pressure is on... to do something amazing that is.

Baby Taylor will be here in July, a much-anticipated arrival, we simply can't wait.

I love working in my studio; this is the view at sunset.

This is what I look forward to everyday.

After dinner, after the laundry & dish washer have been started... the coffee pot begins brewing. I open the windows, turn on Pandora & close the door to my studio & begin a new project or finish up another.

No matter what challenges the day has in store, it gets reconciled here and I am grateful...

Perhaps not entirely finished, but not torn to shreds either.  What a weekend & some unexpected company. I packed it all in - plus a bit of baking...

At some point, I need to entertain a Bed & Breakfast - so I can get some true rest.

For now, I'll keep with the work days & nights with late, late nights in the studio ;)
