A recent trip to Bozeman, MT afforded me the opportunity to gather with some dear friends and craft. A new friend introduced me to this very simple pattern for a hooded cowl. As fate would have it, four of these irresistable gifts are done!
Surprisingly, this quick project lends itself quite nicely to using up all those impulse-buy hanks of yarn.
MmHmm, you know the ones: "Oh I LOVE this! I dont know what I'll do with it, but I'll get one in each color."Malabrigo & Blue Sky Melange... they were meant for eachother.
For the life of me, I cannot find the 8x10 piece of paper this pattern is on in my house. However, the pattern is very simple to remember.
Using 16 inch circular size 11 needles & 200 grams of your favorite yarn, CO 64 ST
Place marker; join in the round
Knit next 4 rows
Next row *YO K2tog, repeat until end
Knit next 4 rows
Next row *YO K2tog, repeat until end
Continue until yarn is almost gone, cast off on last knit row.
Simple. I like it.
What did the weekend have to offer you?
I would love to know ~
