I'm traveling today, but checked in here ♥
See you tomorrow Dears,
So I kept digging thinking to myself: do I have any later years photographs of Finn??? Thank's to my father-in-law Steve♥, I do.
Every photograph I have run across of Gary's paternal grandparents, their is a common thread... they are both happy with gentle smiles, embracing their children or in fits of laughter with their dear friends.
Every single pixure it is there.
I want this with Gary. Decades ahead of smiling, laughing & loving; just like they did. Yes. I am very much looking forward to our next chapter.
Wishing you a beautiful day today, tomorrow, & the day after that ♥
See you tomorrow,
PS: I was going to post my completed projects today, but got pleasantly side-tracked :)
I love it when the kids make a special request. MmHmm, french toast. Perfect with fresh coffee on a day like today. Another family favorite is celebrated mostly during Fall: Banana pancakes & Jack Johnson :)
It's cloudy today, hinting at rain. I love this.
Hoping to finish some projects today/tonight. Cross your finger's my Dears...
Sunday, Austyn left for varsity training camp. I made him breakfast with a dash of well wishes for his upcoming week.
Wow. He'll be 17 in 7 days. Time sure does fly. This feels like a dry-run for what lies ahead after graduation.
Well my dears, I'm off. Thank goodness most of my 2-do's involve creative fluidity.
This makes me happy.
What are you up to today? I'd love to know...
My sister-in-law, Michelle, came to visit recently and had been busy... I love it. She decided to make a pursy for herself like this one.
I attached the "M" and embroidered around. She'll do the handles when she gets home ♥
Of course, we had good company in the process; she's good for that :)
I love making this when everyone comes to visit. Super yummy homemade chili & honey/buttered cornbread: feeds everyone, for days - yay!
And, we needed something to compliment all the pots of coffee we went through...
Now I'm off to check in @ my new local hotspot!
Have a great weekend everyone ~ See you Monday ♥
For what seems like a very long time, there have been no babies in our family; until now. Daddy's sister Megan is having her third baby. This time will be a bit different.
This time, she will have a son.
It began as a soft-spoken request: "Tajie, will you make something for him?" Well, what can you possibly say to that, but YES.
The only request she had was something blue & green. No problem.
Finally, after all the measuring, pinning, ironing & sewing: we have this...
She is due in 3 weeks, however, contractions have started ♥
Todays post is dedicated to my nephew Keaton: May your journey into this world be gentle and may all those that cross your path be blessed for knowing you...
♥ Auntie Tajie & Uncle Gary
Which is now continuing on to this...
This is what Austyn was affectionately referring to as the "Gypsy Portal." The design will continue on to the edge of the wall as well as to the wall/ceiling joint. I wanted a sort of middle-eastern feel. I'll show you more when I'm closing in :)
