As it turns out, there was a bit more to go through than I anticipated - ugh. Isn't that always the way? It began with grabbing a grocery bag, then a trash bag, and then a black garden-sized trash bag.
I kept thinking to myself: am I hoarding?
With a great sigh of relief, I think not. But I have packed quite a bit away. So, in light of this, the past 24 hours has been devoted to the grand-downsization on Century Avenue. I am also a great believer in passing on what we cannot use, therefore: Craigslist, GoodWill & the children's old high school will be the recipients of all that not longer applys here.
This is good. And, it makes me happy. I also found a bit of relief vistiting this place ♥
Via nightlight, I did manage to finish these beauty's. Vintage glass buttons can be found on Etsy by the BummerShoot folks.
...these too!
Fall wristlet buttons can be found @ Joann's. The original pattern can be found here. Because I have large wrists & only size 3 straights & short double points at the moment, I altered things a bit.
You'll need roughly 250 yards of size 3 matching gauge yarn.
Using size 3 straights, CO 120 ST
For the next 3 inches, continue ST stitch
Begining with a wrong side row: CO 5 ST, K2tog to the last 4 stitches, K4.
Next row: C/Off 4 ST & join in round using short size 3 DBLpts.
Begining in the round K1P1 ribbing for about 2 1/2 - 3 inches. Bind off all ST.
Well my leetle Honeee's, it's that time...
I hope your day has at least 1 sweet surprise waiting in the wings,
See ya tomorrow~
