I wanted to make a Noro Scarf, but not fond of K1P1 - takes too long for the North American style knitter. Unless your mind doesn't turn off when it's time to sleep... like me.
So, a bit Mrs. Weasley-esque, I pulled it off. And I love it, my favorite thus far. I should perhaps be a bit more interested in designs, but lately, mindless - straight forward knitting is my poison.
This project reminds me of everywhere it kept me company: plane rides back home, the DMV, DR's office, football Sundays, red lights... you-know-what-I-mean.
The basket near my bed is full of these little projects. Come to think of it, I have a stash of them in my truck - just in case. I'm thinking by Christmas... everyone's head, neck & hands will be covered!
Well Dears, duty calls. Please drop by & fill me in on your comings & goings.
I've miss you all, very much.

PS: I can't do one without the other ---> Cheers!
Zee Knitting Recipe:
Size 8 dbl pts & 4 skeins of Noro Silk Garden
Using size 8 dbl pts CO 50 distributing evenly onto 3 needles (16/17/17)
*You will be knitting this scarf in the round, like you would a sock ;)
Using your first skein of Noro, K4 rows
Switch to 2nd skein of Noro, K4 rows
Repeat until end.
Note* Alernate skeins every 4 rows. As I closed in on the home stretch of this 8foot-long scarf, I added an extra row (K5 rows of Skein 1, K6 rows of skein 2, K7 rows of skein 1 etc) just for a little flavor.
NORO always amazes me in the different ways it stripes! Beautiful scarf! Gonna put this pattern in my all time favorites!
Thank you for sharing.

Really nice scarf pattern. I love stockinette in the round - so relaxing to just knit knit knit. I wonder if you could do this on circular needles? A 16 inch size? You would probably have to cast on more stitches to go around...
