Paint is an interesting medium to work with. Patience is appreciated here. Unlike having the luxury of erasing and re-doing, you're forced to continue on. To go with the flow...

And, it's a process. So, this is the begining his process. Not yet finished, but at least started. Part of the experience is the journey of what this is destined to be, finally taking hold.

This is exciting.

 I love to witness our children's appreciation & development , especially when it's regarding the arts.

This activity inspired me to take some of my mis-matched larger envelopes from Christmas-past, and paint them as well. Don't we love getting pretty things in the mail with our name on it?

I know I do :) These are meant for mi Madre' ♥ Sent with a little gifty inside to brighten her day!

Sunshine is scheduled for today, which is lovely for my pumpkin garden ~ however...

I am secretly doing the rain dance.

The Tunnel::

For quite sometime our son Dalton has been voicing that he wished he had a bonified hobby. Something that not only was he good at, but would never get tired of.

Hmmm.

Immediately I had this vision of a long tunnel. I thought about how many of us have tunnel-vision in regards to things we think we can't do. Then I realized, the only way out of this thought process was through this process.

Ofcourse, I wanted to rush to my Knit-a-Long book and explain that men were the first on the planet to engage in this amazing tradition. However, I collected myself and asked him about a picture he painted a few months back.

I asked him how he felt about it. He said he didn't like it; didn't come out the way he planned.

"Perfect" I'm thinking. So we agreed to have Friday Night Paint Workshop at a little place I know; my studio upstairs :) What better place: white Christmas lights hanging above, spring night air drifting in through our window, large craft table, Circus Fantasy from Water for Elephants soundtrack playing...

 I'll finish this up and post it as well. This colourway should be complimenting our expected weather this weekend ~ bring on the fresh, homemade chocolate cheep cookies & warm milk with melted bars of chocolate in them... MmHmm...
